ITINERARY

Day 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Morning after on arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, assistance and warm traditional welcome by our representative visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country. Later transfer to Shillong. Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake. Reaching Shillong after 3 hours journey (approximately), we check-in at a city Hotel. After freshen up visit Cathedral of Marry & the Polo Ground. Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 02: SHILLONG- CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG
Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 1 ½ hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sisier falls,Mawsmai Caves,Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park .Later back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 03: SHILLONG-MAWLYNNONG-DAWKI-GUWAHATI
Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the sky walk. Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge.After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. it is a splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, he Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed. Later back to Guwahati.Overnight at Guwahati

Day 04: GUWAHATI– KAZIRANGA
After breakfast transfer to Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park n the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Evening visit tea Garden near by the park Overnight stay in resort in Kaziranga.

Day 05: JUNGLE ACTIVITIES AT KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK - MAJULI
After an early wake up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Central Range (Kohora) for an Elephant Ride. After the ride return back to the Hotel. After breakfast drive to the Central Range (Kohora) of the park for a jeep safari.Later drive to Majuil. Majuli is the largest island in the world and is located in the banks of Brahmaputra River. Reached Majuli we check in at Cottage.Evening enjoy local cultur at Majuli.Overnight at Majuli.

Day 06: MAJULI  - SIVASAGAR
Today, we will explore the rest of the important sites of Majuli covering Auniati Satra (Founded by Niranjan  Pathakdeva, the satra is famous for the "Paalnaam" (Monastery Prayer) and Natun Samaguri Satra ( Shamaguri Satra is a unique feature of Vaishnavism in Assam.Later drive to Sivasagar.Overnight at Sivasagar.

Day 07: SIVASAGAR – GUWAHATI
Sivasagar was the ancient capital of Assam for 600years. Shibsagar is famous for Ahom palaces and monuments in and around Shibsagar today after breakfast  we visit  Shivadoul, Karinga Ghar ,Talatal Ghar,Rang Ghar, Gauri Sagar Later  transfer to Guwahati .Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 08: GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEING 
Early Morning visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country.Return back to hotel after breakfast visit  Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra-a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam,Balaji Temple & Basistha Ashram.Evening DJ Cruise on the mighty river Brahamaputra (subject to availability/direct payment basis). Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 09: GUWAHATI RAILWAY STATION DROPPING
After breakfast Check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Railway station for the onward journey.
