Day 01 Welcome to Thimphu and explore the beautiful city:
We will receive you at Paro International Airport and proceed to Thimphu capital city of Bhutan. It will take around two hours to reach the city. By reaching Thimphu check in a hotel and after freshen up go to explore the major attraction of Thimphu i.e.- the world largest Buddha statue Buddha Dordenma Statue, Tashichho Dzong, the largest religious structure and fortified in Thimphu, Memorial Chorten, a beautiful Buddhist shrine with a gold spire built in the memory of Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. After sightseeing back to hotel and stay overnight at Thimphu.
Dat 02 Thimphu to Wangdue Phodrang - Punakha:
After breakfast, check out from hotel and we will Proceed to Wangdue. It will take around 2 hrs. to reach the destination. Wangdu, the town located in central Bhutan known for its market famous for bamboo products, local produce, slate and stone carvings. Visit Wangdiphodrang Dzong perched on a ridge overlooking a river and enjoy beautiful views of the valley. Next take a 15 km travel to Punakha the winter capital of Bhutan. On the way you may enjoy picturesque views of distant Himalayas at Dochula pass (altitude 3,050 mtr.), by reaching Punakha check in a hotel and evening free for leisure, stay overnight at Punakha.
Day 03 Punakha Sightseeing:
After breakfast, proceed to explore the enchanting Punakha valley. The valley is full of fruits and crops. Visit the famous 17th century fortress, Punakha Dzong, one of the most amazing Dzongs in Bhutan. It played a great role in Bhutan’s history. Visit this fortress and other attractions of Punakha such as Chimi Lhakhang temple, the hilltop Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten and Punakha Ritsha Village. Evening back to the hotel and stay overnight at Punakha.
Day 04 Punakha to Paro:
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Paro. It will take around 3.5 hrs to reach Paro. The town is a delightful valley in Bhutan known for several religious sites. Paro is the only place in Bhutan which has an international airport. It is one of the most challenging airports in the world and beautiful as well. In arriving in Paro, check in a hotel and after freshen up explore this charming valley and its famous attractions such as Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Paro with around 3000 artifacts dating back to 1500 years ago. Also visit Paro Dzong, a famous Buddhist monastery and fortress. Evening back to hotel and overnight stay at Paro.
Day 05 Explore Paro:
After breakfast visit some major attractions of Paro i.e.- Kyichu Lhakhang, an ancient temple in Bhutan. Visit a local farmhouse, where you can interact with local people and enjoy their lifestyle. Also, visit the iconic Taktsang Lhakhang or the Tiger’s Nest the most popular attraction of Paro, located in a remote area the monastery has distinctive architecture. After completing sightseeing back to the hotel. Evening free for leisure and stay overnight at Paro.
Day 06 Paro International Airport drop, Tour End:
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to drop you at Paro Airport for your onward journey with an everlasting memory.
