Day 01 Welcome to Shillong:

Receive from Shillong/ Guwahati Airport and proceed to Shillong city, also called as “Scotland of the East”. It takes almost 1 hour (3 hrs from Guwahati) to reach the destination. While traveling you may visitfb Lum Nehru Park at Umium and majestic Barapani (Umiam Lake) wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-Pines and surrounded by sylvan hills and blue skies, visit Don Bosco Museum. On arrival at Shillong city check in a hotel. After freshen up enjoy some local sightseeing of beautiful Shillong i.e.- Lady Hydari Park, Ward’s Lake, Police Bazar and Cathedral Church. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 02 Mawsynram Excursion:

After early breakfast proceeds to explore Mawsynram, a rain lover’s paradise. Mawsynram is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, 65 km far from Shillong. On the way visit the most popular tourist attraction of Shillong i.e. Airforce Museum, Elephant Falls and Mawphlang Sacred Forest. Then drive to Mawsynram and visit Mawjyngbuin Cave (Mawsynram Cave), naturally formed Shiva Linga, visit Jakrem (Hot water Spring). After completing the sightseeing come back to Shillong and overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 03 Explore the Cherrapunji (Sohra):

After early breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Cherrapunji which is credited as being the wettest place on the Earth. On the away visit Shillong Peak which is Meghalaya’s highest peak. It is at an altitude of 1965 meters above the sea level. Enjoy the panoramic view of Mawkdok Dympep Valley from Duwan Shing Syiem viewpoint. Explore some tourist attraction of Cherrapunji i.e.- Wah Kaba Falls, Garden of Caves, Dain Thlen Falls, Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park, Mausmai Cave,  Seven Sister Falls etc. evening check in a hotel and overnight stay at Cherrapunji.

Day 04 Mawlynnong Cleanest Village Excursion:

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Mawlynnong village, known as the cleanest village in Asia and the God’s own Garden. Visit the Living Root Bridge in Riwai village, a natural bridge formed with the roots of the trees. A little hiking is required to see the magnificent bridge. Tree House (watch tower) made by the local people of the village. Experience the rural lifestyle inside the Mawlynnong Village. Evening check in a guest house and stay overnight at Mawlynnong.

Day 05 Explore Dawki , Krang Suri & Laitlum Canyons :

After early breakfast check out from guest house and proceed to Dawki, a small village where the main attraction is the Umngot River that marks the natural separation between the Khasi and the Jaintia Hills. You can enjoy boat riding on crystal clear water in Umngot River (Shnongpdeng village) which is shared by India and Bangladesh. Take a glance of Indo Bangladesh Gate. Then drive to visit most beautiful waterfalls Krang Suri. The view points to enable visitors to better appreciate the beauty of the waterfall and its surroundings. The footpaths are hewn from the natural multi colored stones available in the area. Next drive to the most popular picturesque tourist destinations of Shillong Laitlum Canyons, en-route visit Phe Phe Water Falls. The Laitlum Canyons, which in literal sense means “The End of Hills” or “The End of The World”. Evening return to Shillong and stay overnight at Shillong.

Day 06 Shillong – Guwahati local sightseeing:

After early breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Guwahati, the city is a major tourist place in Assam due to its scenic natural beauty. The river Mighty Brahmaputra flowing through the city.  By reaching Guwahati explore some tourist attraction i.e.- Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra, Regional Science Museum, Balaji Temple which were very beautiful and clean. Experience the India’s longest Ropeway over the River Brahmaputra, visit world smallest River island Umananda Temple. In the evening enjoy River Cruise Ride on the river Mighty Brahmaputra to watch the fantastic sunset scenery with good music and light snacks. Visit Brahmaputra Heritage Centre. Evening check in a hotel and overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 07 Maa Kamakhya Temple Darshan & Guwahati  Airport Drop, Tour End:

Early morning proceed to darshan of Maa Kamakhya Temple, after visiting the temple come back to hotel and having breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport with an everlasting memory.
