Day 01 Welcome to Guwahati:

Our executive will receive you from Guwahati Airport/ Rly. Station and check in a hotel in Guwahati city. The city is a major tourist place in Assam due to its scenic natural beauty. The river Mighty Brahmaputra flowing through the city. After freshen up you may visit world smallest River Island Umananda, experience India’s longest Rope Way over the river Brahmaputra. Visit State Emporium, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra, Shri Balaji Temple which were very beautiful and clean. In the evening enjoy the River Cruise Ride on the river Mighty Brahmaputra to view the excellent sunset scenery with good music and light snacks. Visit Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre, Overnight stay in Guwahati. 

Day 02 Kamakhya Temple Darshan and shift to Kaziranga National Park:

Early morning proceed to darshan of Maa Kamakhya Temple, after visiting the temple come back to hotel and having breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”. It will take around 5 hours journey to Kaziranga National Park. The Park is one of the oldest national parks in Assam on the south bank of river Brahmaputra. Spread across 430 sq.kms, it is a dazzling mosaic of interspersed with vast tracts of marshes and shallow pools that are a favorite haunt of this celebrity pre-historic beast. The main residents of the park include Wild Elephant, Hog deer, Barasingha, Indian Bison, four species of Deer, Tiger, Leopard, Capped Langur, Wild Boar, Gibbon, Hornbill, Egret, Heron, Fishing Eagle and a host of migratory birds including Pelicans. By reaching Kaziranga check in a hotel / resort and after freshen up you may visit nearby villages to experience the rural lifestyle, Tea Garden, Orchid farm, Cultural Show etc. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 03 Explore Kaziranga National Park:

Early in the morning (5:00 am) we will start for Elephant Safari inside the Western range of the park for one hour and come back to the hotel for breakfast. After having breakfast we will take you inside the Central range of the park in a Jeep safari. After completing the safari check out from hotel and proceed to Shillong, also called as “Scotland of East”. It takes almost 7 hours to reach the destination. En-route you may visit Maha Mrityunjay Tempole at Nagaon. Visit Lum Nehru Park at Umium and majestic Barapani (Umiam Lake) wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-Pines and surrounded by sylvan hills and blue skies. On arrival at Shillong check in a hotel. After freshen-up enjoy some local sightseeing of beautiful Shillong like – Ward’s Lake & local market Police Bazar. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 04 Shillong to Cherrapunji:

After breakfast proceed to Cherrapunji which is credited as being the wettest place on the Earth. On the way visit Elephant Falls, definitely the most popular tourist site of Shillong, Enjoy the panoramic view of Mawkdok Dympep Valley from Duwan Shing Syiem viewpoint. Explore some Major Tourist attraction of Sohra i.e.- Dain-Thlen Water Falls, Arwah Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park, Mausmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls, Thangkharang Park (Wednesday closed) etc. Evening return to Shillong and overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 05 Shillong – Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station Drop, Tour End:

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Shillong/ Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station with an everlasting beautiful memory.
