Day 01 Welcome to Guwahati & Local sightseeing:

Receive you on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station and check in the hotel in Guwahati city, the city is a major tourist place in Assam due to its scenic natural beauty. The river Mighty Brahmaputra flowing through the city. After freshen up go for enjoy some local sightseeing of Guwahati i.e.- World smallest River island Umananda (Shiv Temple), experience the India’s longest Ropeway over the River Brahmaputra, State Zoo/ Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra, Shri Balaji Temple which is very beautiful and clean. In the evening you may enjoy River Cruise Ride on the Mighty Brahmaputra River to watch the fantastic sunset scenery with good music and light snacks. Evening visit Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre. Stay overnight in Guwahati.

Day 02 Maa Kamakhya Temple darshan & shift to Bhalukpong:

Early in the morning (5 O’clock) proceed to darshan of Maa Kamakhya Temple located at top of the Nilachal hill in heart of Guwahat city. After visiting the temple come back to hotel, having breakfast and check out the hotel. Then drive to Bhalukpong, the gateway of Arunachal Pradesh, located in West Kameng District, a historical place where one can look back to the days of the Mahabharata. It is situated on the border of dense forest of Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary and shores of River Kameng. The distance from Guwahati to Bhalukpung is almost 300 kms. and it will take around 6 hours to reach there.  It offers excellent scope for Hiking, Trekking, Fishing and River Rafting. Though tourist spots are not many, the entire place in itself is an amazing bundle of entertainment with spectacular views and various outdoor activities. By reaching Bhalukpong check in a hotel and stay overnight at Bhalukpong. 

Day 03 Bhalukpong to Dirang:

After breakfast check out from hotel, and with fresh memories drive towards Dirang. The distance from Bhalukpung to dirang is almost 140 kms. and around 5 hours journey to reach there. On the way you may visit Tippi on the banks of the river Jia Bharali at an elevation of 190 Mtrs, Tippi is an orchidarium with over 7500 orchids. Also explore Sessa Orchid Sanctuary and Snow Clad ranges. Dirang the region is located at an elevation of 4910 ft above sea level and on a picturesque valley in between two major getaways- Bomdilla and Tawang.  The land is famous for Kiwi and Apple orchards. It is the base camp of trekking and bird watching at Mandla. On arrival of Dirang check in at a hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 04 Explore The Sangti Valley & Shift to Tawang:

After having breakfast check out from hotel and visit Thupsung Ddhargye Monastery, after visiting the Monastery explore some famous tourist attraction of Dirang i.e. Sangti Valley, the valley blessed with pleasant weather with light showers of snow fall and Sangti River flowing through the valley. Explore Regional Apple Nursery, Kiwi Farm, Dzong (fort) etc. Then drive to Tawang. It is about 130 Kms. from Dirang and will take almost 5 hours to reach the destination. On the way visit World War Cemetery. Continue the journey till arrival of Sela Pass, at an altitude of 4114m. It is famous for high altitude Lakes and scenic beauty and is ideal for Ice Skating during winter. By reaching Tawang check in at a hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 05 Explore the Bum La Pass & Tawang:

After having breakfast proceed to visit Indo-China border (Bum La Pass) Madhuri Lake and Pangateng Tso Lake, which is another significant tourist spot in Tawang. Visit Brahma-Dung-Chung Ani Gompa, the Gompa is a 400 years old nunnery. It is situated at distance of 15 km from Tawang towards Bumla pass. After exploring Bum La Pass come back to hotel. Evening visit War memorial Centre and watch the show of World War Memory and stay overnight at Tawang.

Day 06 Tawang Sightseeing & Shift to Bomdila:

After breakfasts check out from hotel and visit Tawang Monastery, The Monastery is an around 113 feet long and 80 feet wide edifice which is a famous Buddhist Temple. The interior of the building is stunningly beautiful. Visit Tawang Craft Centre, is home to the work of traditional artists and craftsmen of Tawang, here you can see wide variety of carpets, Buddhist Thangkas and handicrafts along with masks crafted by local people. After that drive to Bomdila which is almost 170 kms. from Tawang and will take 5 hours to reach the destination. Bomdila offers excellent panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. En-route you can visit Nuranang Falls (Jung Falls or Bong Bong Falls) the picturesque attraction of Tawnag. The falls drops down from an altitude of 100 mtrs. It is located about 2 kms away from the Bomdila & Tawang connecting road. By reaching Bomdila check in a hotel and relax. Evening you may visit Bomdila local market and overnight stay at Bomdila

Day 07 Bomdila to Kaziranga National Park:

After early breakfast check out from hotel and visit the amazing tourist attraction of Bomdila Gontse Garden Rabgyal Ling Monastery (Upper Gompa) Popularly known as the GRL Monastery, also visit Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gompa) was first founded in the year of 1960, this monastery has been an important religious place for performing circumambulating and prostration by the local people.  After visiting the monasteries start journey towards Kaziranga National Park. Almost 5 hours (200 km) journey to reach the National Park. En-route you may visit Sessa Orchid Sanctury and Snow Clad ranges. Kaziranga National Park is the home of the Great Indian One horned Rhinoceros. Other residents of the park include Elephant, Indian Bison, four species of Deer, Tiger, Leopard, Capped Langur, Wild Boar, Gibbon, Hornbill, Egret, Heron, Fishing Eagle and a host of migratory birds including Pelicans. Check in a resort on arrival of Kaziranga and evening you may visit the nearby villages, Tea garden and Orchid farm etc. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 08 Explore the Kaziranga National Park & shift to Majuli:

Early in the morning start for Elephant safari in the Western range of the park, for one hour and come back to the hotel for breakfast. After having breakfast check out from hotel and take a Jeep safari inside the Eastern Range of the park, after completing the safari proceed to World Largest River Island Majuli, around 5 hours journey (3 hrs. by road and 2 hrs. by ferry), crossing mighty Brahmaputra River by Ferry. On arrival at Majuli check in at a resort. Evening you may visit to a sand beach in Brahmaputra River to witness the sunset, explore Missing village to experience the lifestyle of second largest tribal community of Assam . Overnight stay at Majuli. 

Day 09 Explore the Majuli River Island & shift to Jorhat:

Early in the morning go for enjoy the Boat Ride (as per availability) to see the birds and comeback to hotel. After having breakfast visit Assamese’s famous GARMUR SATTRA, a popular attractions of Majuli. AUNIATI SATRA is one of the major attractions of Majuli, which was established in Majuli in 1653 A.D, the Satra is famous for Paalnaam and Apsara Dance. KAMALABARI SATRA is one of the famous tourism destinations of the River Island which is significant for articles related to art, culture, literature and classical studies. NATUN SAMUGURI SATRA is famous for Mask crafts and artworks of the Satra is prominent. Hem Chandra Goswami master craftsman and Satradhikar (monastic head) is well known for traditional mask-making. These masks, used in Raas Leelaand Bhaona, an ancient form of Assamese theatre, are the signature craft of Natun Samaguri Satra. DAKHINPAT SATRA. The Satra is famous and well –known socio-culture and spiritual institute of Majuli River Island. The Satra is located at Dakhinpat Gaon. TENGAPANIA, located on the banks of river Brahmaputra, it is one of the famous picnic spots in the Island. 
After having lunch proceed to Jorhat, check in at a hotel and relax. Stay overnight at Jorhat.

Day 10 Jorhat to Shillong:

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Shillong, also called as “Scotland of the East”. It takes almost 9 hours to reach the Shillong. En-route visit the Maha Mrityujay Temple at Nagaon. Visit the Lum Nehru Park at Umium and majestic Barapani (Umiam Lake) wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-Pines and surrounded by sylvan hills and blue skies. By reaching Shillong check in at a hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 11 Explore Laitlum Canyons – Nartiang Durga Mandir – Phe Phe Falls & Krang Suri:

After early breakfast proceed to enjoy one of the most popular picturesque tourist destination of Shillong is The Laitlum Canyons, which in literal sense means “The End of Hills” or “The End of The World”. Then proceed to visit 600 years old Shri Nartiang Durga Mandir located near Jowai town. Explore Phe Phe Falls known as Paradise waterfall located in Shkentalang village on the Jowai Dawki Road. Next visit the most beautiful waterfalls Krang Suri. The view points to enable visitors to better appreciate the beauty of the waterfall and its surroundings. The footpaths are hewn from the natural multi colored stones available in the area. Evening return to shillong and stay overnight at Shillong.

Day 12 Shillong Sightseeing & shift to Cherrapunji :

After breakfast check out from hotel and explore some tourist spot of Shillong i.e. Cathedral Church, Police Bazar, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco Museum, Air force Museum, visit Shillong Peak which is Meghalaya’s highest peak. It is at an altitude of 1965 meters above the sea level. Elephant Falls, definitely the most popular tourist site of Shillong & Sacred Forest. Then proceed to Cherrapunji which is credited as being the wettest place on the Earth. En-route enjoy the panoramic view of Mawkdok Dympep Valley from Duwan Shing Syiem viewpoint. Visit Wah Kaba Falls. By reaching Cherrapunji check in a hotel and overnight stay at Cherrapunji.

Day 13 Explore the Cherrapunji (Sohra):

Cherrapunji, which is credited as being the wettest place on the Earth. After breakfast explore some major tourist attraction of Cherrapunji i.e.- Warhew River rafting point. Kynrem Falls,  Thangkharang Park, Seven Sister Falls, Mausmai Cave, Eco Park, Nohkalikai Falls, Arwah Cave, Dain-Thlen Falls, Garden of Caves, etc. Evening come back to hotel and stay overnight at Cherrapunji.

Day 14 Explore the Dawki & Mawlynnong Cleanest Village:

After early breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to explore the Dawki, a small village where the main attraction is the Umngot River that marks the natural separation between the Khasi and the Jaintia Hills. You can enjoy boat riding on crystal clear water in Umngot River (Shnongpdeng village) which is shared by India and Bangladesh. Take a glance of Indo Bangladesh Gate.

Next drive to Mawlynnong Village known as the cleanest village in Asia and the God’s own Garden. Visit the famous tourist attraction of Riwai village the Living Root Bridge, a natural bridge formed with the roots of the trees. A little hiking is required to see the magnificent bridge. Also you can enjoy the rural lifestyle inside the Mawlynnong village, experience Tree House (watch tower) made by the local people of the village. After completing the sightseeing return to Shillong and stay overnight at Shillong.

Day 15 Shillong to Guwahati Airport / Rly. Station Drop, Tour End:

After breakfast check out from hotel and we will transfer you to Shillong/ Guwahati Airport/ Rly Station with an everlasting beautiful memory.
